The QUARTZ-UMTS ’s fast data transfer capability reaches up to 21Mbps download and up to 5.76Mbps upload speed. It also has fall-back to 2G/GPRS communication, should 3G/UMTS be unavailable. It is well suited for IoT/mobile broadband applications, offering reliable, secure wireless connectivity.
The QUARTZ-UMTS router is of a robust design, coming in a small sized, metal enclosure, making it ideal for deployment in industrial embedded applications. Cellular coverage is designed to match European frequencies. The QUARTZ software means VPN security is supported, allowing the router to be used in commercial as well as industrial applications. These include a dual SIM facility meaning you can configure a back-up cellular network between two different SIM cards, to ensure permanent reliable connection regardless of individual network availability. In addition, the QUARTZ-UMTS has dual port ethernet capability, RJ45 serial RS232 linkCONNECT port and 3 digital I/O. It has the option to come with, or without, Wifi. It also has optional GPS capability, which means the router is ideal for asset tracking or access management.
