The QUARTZ-LTE router is a high speed industrial router designed for transferring large amounts of data via the cellular network. The QUARTZ-LTE’s fast data transfer capability reaches up to 150Mbps download and up to 50Mbps upload speed. It also provides fallback to 3G communication should 4G/LTE be unavailable, and will further fall back to 2G where 3G service is not available.

It is well suited for IoT/mobile broadband applications, offering reliable, secure wireless connectivity. The QUARTZ-LTE router is of a robust design, coming in a small sized, metal enclosure, making it ideal for deployment in industrial embedded applications.

Cellular coverage is designed to match European frequencies. The QUARTZ software means VPN security is supported, allowing the router to be used in commercial as well as industrial applications. The QUARTZ 4G/LTE router meets many of the needs for management of remote communication, and therefore has applications in renewable energy, security, digital signage, transport, street furniture, traffic control, parking systems, environmental monitoring, and many other IoT/mobile broadband applications.

The QUARTZ-LTE router, has an array of features to empower your application. These include a dual SIM facility meaning you can configure a back-up cellular network between two different SIM cards, to ensure permanent reliable connection regardless of individual network availability. In addition, the QUARTZ-LTE has dual port ethernet capability, RJ45 serial RS232 linkCONNECT port and 3  digital I/O and comes as standard with LTE/4G antennas, but it has the option to come with, or without, Wifi. It also has optional GPS capability, which means the router is ideal for asset tracking or access management.
