Quad Port Gigabit Ethernet 5G NR Router (GL) with GPSQUARTZ-ONYX Global 5G NR Gigabit Ethernet, 2.4G + 5G Wi-Fi and RS232/485 Serial

The QUARTZ-ONYX router is a high speed quad port gigabit ethernet industrial router designed for transferring large amounts of data via the 5G NR cellular network. The QUARTZ-ONYX’s fast data transfer capability reaches up to 2.1 Gbps download and up to 450 Mbps upload speed. It also has fall-back to 4G/LTE and 3G/UMTS communication, should 5G NR be unavailable. It is well suited for high speed mobile broadband applications, offering reliable, secure wireless connectivity.

The QUARTZ-ONYX router has a robust design, encased in a small sized, metal enclosure, making it ideal for deployment in industrial embedded applications. The QUARTZ-ONYX software supports a number of high end VPN security protocols allowing the router to be used in commercial as well as industrial applications securely and reliably.

The QUARTZ-ONYX router meets many of the needs for management of remote systems and communication channels and therefore has applications in renewable energy, security, digital signage, transport, street furniture, traffic control, parking systems, environmental monitoring, and many other IoT mobile broadband applications.

The QUARTZ-ONYX router comes as standard with Dual SIM slots, quad port gigabit ethernet capability and 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi. It also has GPS capability, and is ideal for asset tracking applications and access management.

In addition the QUARTZ-ONYX supports 2 x RS232 or 1 x RS485 serial connectivity to connect remote equipment. The QUARTZ-ONYX also allows you to interact directly to the cellular engine to automate notifications such as SMS alarm triggered alerts. It also allows your connected equipment to interrogate the connections status, signal strength and network parameters directly which can allow remote systems to run autonomously in the field.
